Whenever we face a problem or a difficulty we resort to other people for example our parents our friends our teachers etc to ask them for advice.Well this must be done in a polite way .

What do you think I should do?

What do you suggest
in doing so we need first to state the problem so as to make the hearer aware of our position then we use one of the above expressions.
example :
[last day a virus damamged all my docmuments what should i do to get them back .
well now the hearer is going to give us advice then we should know what are the expressions of giving advice

in the above example the possible advice may be
if i were you i would consult a technicain .
